Nominees Announced For the 2009 People’s Choice Awards; Set to Air January 7th on CBS!

The nominees for the 35th Annual People’s Choice Awards were announced on Monday (11-10-08), providing their usual populist contrast to the Emmys, Oscars and Grammys.
This year’s ceremony will air on CBS on Wednesday, Jan. 7 and will, once again, be hosted by Queen Latifah.

Oscar nominations will be unveiled Thursday, Jan. 22, with the ceremony Sunday, Feb. 22. Noms are traditionally announced on a Tuesday, but the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences pushed back the date due to the presidential inauguration Jan. 20.
